The Olivi bones from our partner Lucky-Pet are a 100 % natural chew toy for dogs made from olive wood, which has been lovingly hand-finished with olive oil. The bones are made of olive wood, which is very hard and splinter-free. The dog toy is also natural and no chemical plasticizers are used. Pure, high-quality olive oil not only enhances the appearance of the wooden toy, but also has an antibacterial effect thanks to the naturally contained lignins and tannins. Natural antioxidants and omega fatty acids can have a positive effect on your dog's health. The olive tree toy is characterized by its pleasant scent and unique grain.

Good to know

All Olivi products are sawn from the wood of ancient olive trees and finely sanded. The wood is then finished with precious olive oil. Olive wood is a natural material which, due to its special properties, does not require any foreign additives even after processing and therefore remains completely natural. What's more, olive wood is very suitable for direct contact with food, as bacteria are rendered harmless by the acidity of the wood.

The manufacturing process for Olivi toys is very gentle overall: drying takes place naturally in the open air. No additives such as chemical varnishes are used; instead, all products are rubbed with pure olive oil. Furthermore, production takes place at fair prices.

Important information from the manufacturer

If your dog chews with great force, it can happen that smaller or larger wood fibers are gnawed off and pieces (even several cm) are chewed or broken off. These are not normally eaten by dogs, but can be removed as a precaution if you are concerned. Chewing causes the chew toy to lose size and weight over time. If the size becomes so small that your dog could manage to swallow it, we recommend replacing the chew toy.

We would like to point out that gnawing hard objects is not suitable for dogs with loose or sensitive teeth, or for dogs that tend to bite chews immediately. Please also choose the right size for your dog.
Dogs naturally have a very powerful muzzle, so toys and chews of all kinds can be bitten into despite all safety precautions. Therefore, please do not leave your four-legged friend unattended when gnawing.
Olive wood is a particularly hard wood, certainly harder than oak, which is extremely durable even with daily use and is extremely resistant to many substances and mechanical influences.
