Optionally with motion sensor

If you are also interested in the Motion sensor the fountain will only run if your cat comes within 1.5 meters of it. The fountain switches on and as soon as the cat moves away from it, the fountain switches off again automatically. The motion sensor saves electricity and makes the fountain even more interesting and entertaining for your cats. Order the motion sensor with it.

Information on cleaning the fountain

The ceramic fountain is suitable for the dishwasher and can be conveniently washed in it. However, the pump, cable (and of course the optional motion sensor) do not belong in the dishwasher. We recommend cleaning the pump every time you clean the ceramic fountain. The pump can be opened for cleaning purposes. To do this, open the screws on the pump and pull out the propeller with tweezers, for example. If the pump stops working, this is usually due to limescale deposits in the pump that have settled on the magnets on the rotor (propeller).

To solve the pump problem, please open the pump cover by loosening the two screws on the back of the pump. Next, you can pull out and remove the propeller with tweezers or similar and remove the accumulated dirt.
As the use of water (including filtered water) leaves limescale residues on the pump, it must be descaled from time to time, as must the pump parts.
Please use a mixture of water and vinegar or citric acid. The recommended ratio is 70 % water and 30 % vinegar. Allow the pump and pump components to soak in this solution so that the limescale is effectively dissolved.
In the last step, scrub the magnet on the propeller with a sponge, rinse all pump components with water and reassemble the pump. Your pump should now work again.
