Elk leather is one of the finest leathers in the world. The care and handling of elk leather is very important. Elk leather should not be exposed to extreme moisture or coarse soiling, as this damages the leather and can quickly make the extremely fine leather look worn.

When it comes to leather care, we always recommend: »Less is more!«
Elk leather is already greased and requires only minimal re-greasing; a leather care oil is best suited for this.

If the elk leather product has become wet or damp, it is not advisable to dry the leather quickly, e.g. on a radiator; dabbing and slow drying are recommended.
It is also advisable to ensure that no moisture remains on the metal fittings. Only with appropriate handling and care can the usual HUNTER quality of these exceptional leather products be maintained.
